Passboards is building toward permission-aware semantic search, multimodal memory retrieval, intelligent curation, event and people understanding, and tools that can turn a large private collection into a useful recap or answer. We want to prototype and optimize these workloads on NVIDIA Blackwell platforms, including the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition, then deploy only experiences that are useful, explainable, measurable, and respectful of consent.

01 · Applied AI

Founding AI & Multimodal Systems Engineer

Build the intelligence layer that helps people find, understand, and relive the moments inside their own shared media.

5+ years in applied ML, including 3+ years shipping GPU-backed systems.

What you bring

Expertise in PyTorch, CUDA, multimodal or vision-language models, embeddings, retrieval, and rigorous evaluation
Production experience optimizing inference with TensorRT, Triton, quantization, batching, and profiling
Ability to design privacy-aware ML systems around permissions, consent, provenance, and measurable failure modes

Especially useful

Hands-on optimization for NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and RTX PRO or data-center GPU platforms
Built semantic media search, video understanding, recommendation, ranking, or generative storytelling systems
Experience with adapter fine-tuning, synthetic data, human feedback, and deploying models from workstation to fleet

02 · Product engineering

Founding iOS Engineer

Own the native experience people use to collect, share, and return to their memories.

5+ years building and shipping production iOS applications.

What you bring

Deep Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, concurrency, and application architecture experience
A strong product eye for interaction details, accessibility, performance, and reliability
Experience with networking, media upload/playback, notifications, and App Store releases

Especially useful

Built social, messaging, camera, photo, or video products
Comfort moving between modern SwiftUI and an established UIKit codebase
Evidence of taking a feature from customer problem through launch and iteration

03 · Systems engineering

Founding Backend & Media Infrastructure Engineer

Make collaborative media feel immediate while keeping a privacy-aware, self-hosted platform dependable.

5+ years operating production backend or distributed systems.

What you bring

Strong Go, PostgreSQL, API design, data modeling, and production debugging skills
Experience with object storage, queues or workers, media pipelines, and observability
Sound judgment around privacy boundaries, migrations, backups, and operational safety

Especially useful

Hands-on gRPC, FFmpeg, S3-compatible storage, or real-time messaging experience
Operated services on bare metal or small infrastructure where simplicity matters
Can turn ambiguous product behavior into a precise, testable system contract

Founding Growth & Community Lead

4+ years growing a consumer, social, community, or creator product.

What you bring

Customer research, positioning, lifecycle strategy, partnerships, and experiment design
Excellent writing and the ability to translate real user stories into clear campaigns
Comfort owning outcomes from hands-on community work through funnel measurement
