Advertising partners

Partnerships that belong in the moment.

Passboards plans to open a limited advertising program for brands that have a real reason to be part of what people do together. Future partners will be able to place sponsored posts and sponsored boards in eligible feeds, with clear labeling and product-level privacy boundaries.

The goal is not to fill every surface with ads. It is to create a small number of useful, well-made partnerships that can introduce an experience, support a community, or give a group something worth collecting and sharing.

Planned formats

Native to the product. Never disguised as a person.

These concepts describe the direction of the program, not inventory available for purchase today. Exact formats and eligibility will be tested before a broader launch.

01

Sponsored posts

Clearly labeled brand posts designed to appear naturally in eligible feeds without pretending to be something a friend shared.

02

Sponsored boards

Brand-hosted collections for launches, destinations, events, and cultural moments that people can explore, follow, and choose to join.

03

Experience partnerships

Thoughtful campaigns built around something people can actually do together, from a trip or game to a live event or community activation.

The trust contract

Advertising should fund the product without owning the memory.

People should not have to trade the privacy or integrity of their shared history for Passboards to build a durable business.

Always recognizable

Every paid placement should carry an unmistakable sponsor label and a clear brand identity. Advertising should never impersonate a person, club, or organic recommendation.

Private stays private

Buying a placement would not grant access to private boards, club membership, messages, media, or conversations. Partnership tools must respect the same boundaries as the product.

Useful before frequent

Relevance, placement quality, frequency limits, and user controls matter more than maximizing impressions. A campaign should add context or opportunity instead of interrupting it.

Measured with restraint

Future reporting should help partners understand delivery and meaningful engagement without turning personal memories into a data product.

Who we want to meet

Brands with something worth doing together.

The strongest early partners will understand that Passboards is organized around groups and experiences, not passive audience segments. We are especially interested in teams that can create value before asking for attention.

A future pilot path

Start with the shared experience, then design the placement.

  1. 01 · Context

Understand the brand, audience, objective, timing, and real-world experience behind the idea.

  2. 02 · Concept

Choose a post, board, or partnership concept that fits naturally into Passboards.

  3. 03 · Safeguards

Define labeling, eligibility, frequency, moderation, user controls, and privacy boundaries before launch.

  4. 04 · Pilot

Run a limited test, learn from people using the product, and expand only if the placement earns its space.
